The most powerful ever produced VW Golf with 270 hp coming from the two-liter turbo engine was introduced last year in Frankfurt.
Golf R has a transmission to all four wheels and it is the fastest serial Golf out there on the road.

“Hottest” Golf accelerates from still to 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds with a manual gearbox and 5.5 seconds with a DSG (with two clutch).
The maximum speed in both models is limited electronically to 250 km/h.
