In the Dutch site Autoweek.nl appeared pictures of a miniature version of the future Volkswagen Touareg. Debute of the real model will take place in March or April.
Photos show that the design has redesigned front and chrome accents are added while the windshield is placed under greater slope. The car has a sunroof (optional). It makes an impression that the new version of the model is shorter but seemed that the back is somewhat longer compared to its previous version.
It is expected the company to offer the lightweight Touareg TDI and TSI engines and also a 3-liter diesel engine with an output of 240 hp and 3-liter V6 engine and compressor power of 290 hp.
The basis of the VW model’s platform stands Porsche Cayenne. The car will probably be presented at the Geneva Motor Show in March or in New York in April. Sales are planned for late autumn or winter of this year.
