Volkswagen will show its renewed giant Phaeton in Beijing. The son of Helios is one of the most luxurious limousine and market failures. Calling it that before 8 years was a surprise to Mercedes-Benz S-class and BMW 7-series on their territory. For several reasons, including the discrepancy between the image of VW as a popular car models and prices, Phaeton in no time became a hit. Now Volkswagen presents coincidence slightly updated version in China. There is the biggest market Phaeton – 1400 numbers last year and hope for more this.
The updated version is the latest model of the company that skinning the skin of Golf. Phaeton already has intelligent headlamps, navigation system compatible with Google Maps and recognition of road signs. Engines remain the same – three petrol (280, 335 and 450 hp) and a diesel (240 hp). You can choose between short and long wheelbase as well as between the rear seat with three seats or two individual seats.
