With eT! Concept Volkswagen unveils its vision for the 21st century bus. The vehicle is designed with “Deutsche Post” and design center in Braunschweig.

eT! EV is designed to facilitate the work of couriers. Its construction was part of a project designed to give an idea – Are vehicles powered by electricity cost effective and subtle for freight.

Electric motors are mesh directly to each wheel. They are located so as not to lose the space in the cabin and cargo compartment. The large, sliding door on the right allows access to the baggage as part of the van and travel to the sector and the driver’s seat. Milano Taxi resembles a compact MPV cars and its dimensions are – length 3.73 m, 1.66 m wide and 1.60 m height. The model has a sliding door through which it facilitates the entry and exit of passengers, and it opens forward.

Volkswagen said the rear of the conceptual Milano Taxi can comfortably seat two passengers, legroom as they compete in size to that of a luxury sedan with its 120 mm. To provide more room to ride in the car, they can put their luggage in the front seat to the driver.

The german car maker says that the charging time of the Lithium-Ion battery is significantly reduced by over 80% of its load for a little over 1 hour.

The hybrid technology of the concept called New Compact Coupe or NCC is capable of a fuel consumption of 67.2mpg and emissions of just 98g/km. However VW’s NCC has not compromised on performance with the 0-62mph sprint in 8.6 seconds with a top speed of 141mph.

The 1.4-litre engine unit currently appears in several of the VW group’s cars, including the Golf and Scirocco, and produces 148bhp.

At just over 4.5m long, the NCC sits between the Golf and Passat in terms of size and borrows heavily from VW’s current design language. It uses the same chiselled side lines and features the familiar Volkswagen grille. 19-inch alloy wheels finish off the nice look.
