German tuning company ABT Sportsline can’t miss a new or updated model of Volkswagen, to develop a sports program for. This will happen very soon to the facelifted Tiguan but ABT has decided to introduce it in advance, while still finish it for the exhibition in Frankfurt.

For the exterior of the car are made ​​new bumpers, side skirts, grille and roof spoiler. Furthermore, the decorative and protective side moldings panel under the rear bumper, which may be chrome plated or made of carbon.

As always, the ABT Sportsline has prepared a wide selection of wheels, which size can be 18 to 20 inches. There is also a new sports suspension, which has reduced the ground clearance by 20 mm.

Of course, attention is paid to the engine as well, which offers refurbished Volkswagen Tiguan. Both 2.0-liter diesel, generating 170 and 195hp being increased to 200 and 220hp While petrol 1.4 TSI (160 hp), 2.0 TSI (180 hp) and 2.0 TSI (210hp) increased respectively to 210, 210 and 250hp.

In its role as the largest tuner of Volkswagen Group the Germans from Abt plan to improve all engines in the range of the Beetle. Of course, there will be an excellent optical tuning by Abt available for the new Beetle – a new front spoiler, rear bumper, new exhaust and side skirts. There are decorative elements such as “eyebrows” on the front and rear lights as well as interesting graphics. Finally, thanks to changes in suspension the car is fitted with 1 inch larger tires.

Touareg gets a new grille, updated side skirts, rear apron and a massive roof spoiler. Other goodies include a system for separating sports exhaust and 22-inch wheels.

The used 3-liter turbo diesel engine can be modified to produce output of 282 hp and 580 Nm of torque. In addition, the company offers S package that allows the engine to generate 310 hp and 610 Nm of torque.

ABT will please owners of 4.2-liter turbo diesel Touareg by increasing power and maximum torque by 45 hp and by 70 ft so they become 385 hp and 870 Nm.

The purpose of the improvements included in the package is to give a sporty appearance of the multifunction van which can be used both to carry many people and travel during family vacations.

The model receives a new grille and new front spoiler. Aerodynamics package offered for the Volkswagen T5 includes side skirts, rear apron, exhaust system with four tailpipes and a rear roof spoiler, increasing pressing the back of the car.

The car is equipped with 19-inch wheels Abt BR and new suspension springs for providing for its fine handling.

The tuning company promised to further increase the power of the Volkswagen 2-liter turbo diesel engine but there are not distributed detailed information on this issue.

And last but not least – the sports hatchback has a special package for the suspension, which improves the stability and behavior on the road. Of course, the comfort was injured because of a little patience and a lower clearance, but nothing can compare to confidently pass at high speed through turns.

A little difficult to choose between gasoline and diesel engines. As you can see, the power offered by a 2-liter TDI unit is practically the same as in 2-liter TFSI engine. Of course, the diesel will have that sound and high speed as its petrol equivalent, but we can not miss to mention the low fuel consumption in diesel.
