Spy photos of the new sedan, Volkswagen Jetta appeared in the net. The car is based on the platform of the fifth-generation Jetta. The car has already been captured during testing in desert conditions. Today it can be discerned in its road testing in Europe.
The model is known in many countries as NCS (New Compact Sedan). It will be produced at Volkswagen’s plant in Puebla, Mexico, and will be slightly longer and wider than the previous version. By the German company plans to produce 160 000 units of the model an year and to draw attention to some of the fans of Corolla and Civic with its low base price.
It is said that the car will be available in version with a system for simultaneous four-wheel drive. It will be equipped with a 2.5-liter 5-cylinder gasoline engine. It is almost certain that you will enjoy diesel as well.
