During the Geneva Motor Show Volkswagen will show the updated version of its model CrossGolf. With it, the company will present at the event also the new CrossPolo, Polo GTI and Touareg. As with CrossPolo, and CrossGolf in fact is a slightly raised version of the facelift of the Golf Plus. Accordingly, the car is not driven by the four, only the front wheels.
In the exterior of CrossGolf we can see a few changes – upgraded design of the front and rear bumpers and taillights, as there are, of course, safeguard plastic protectors. The company offers a wide selection of designs for wheels.
The model receives the following improvements to the interior – a new design of the dashboard, steering wheel with three beams, sport seats and trim. For customers of the company are available and many variations of the color of the upholstery.
Clearance of new 5-door CrossGolf is 20 millimeters higher than the standard Golf Plus. The company will offer a choice of several new petrol and turbo diesel units.
In terms of petrol options customers can choose between a 1.2-liter TSI with an output of 105 hp and 1.4-liter TSI with two versions of power (122 hp and 160 hp). The diesel options are 1.6-liter TDI with an output of 105 hp and 2-liter TDI with an output of 140 hp
All engines (except for the 1.2-liter TSI with 105 hp) can be combined with the DSG dual-clutch transmission from Volkswagen. All petrol units and 1.6-liter TDI may be combined with 7-gear DSG transmission, a 2-liter TDI – with 6-gear DSG transmission.
CrossGolf renewed sales in Europe will begin in April.
