Called the Royal GT 470, the kit features a revised grille, modified spoilers, wheel arch extensions and a stainless steel four-tailpipe exhaust system. Clients can also order an electric lowering module (which reduces the ride height by 40mm when parked or traveling at speeds less than 80 kph) and 20- to 22-inch alloy wheels.

Under the hood, the 3.0-liter TDI engine is equipped with a revised ECU which produce 271 hp and 580 Nm of torque – an increase of35 hp and 80 Nm. Thanks to that extra power, the Touareg can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 6.9 seconds and hit a top speed of 229 km/h.

For performance JE Design has optimsed the engine management on the 3.0-liter TSFI-engine providing 440 hp (324 kW) versus the standard power of 379 hp (279 kW). Torque bumps up from 580 to 630 Nm. As a result, 0-100 kph acceleration takes 5.9 instead of 6.5 seconds and the top speed climbs to 255 km/h instead of 240. The cost is 3999 Euro which includes one year warranty for the engine, turbo, transmission, the power train and can be extended to two years for an additional 199 Euro.

Pneumatic electronic suspension lowering module which lowers the vehicles by 35 mm adds another 1428 Euro, however the entire package including assembly, paint and TUV registration is available for 21,105 Euro.

Modifications are based mostly in sports settings of the chassis and the new 20-inch wheels. The interior has a pair of sport seats, leather-lined Nappa, heated steering wheel, special logos R-Line, pedal steel and brushed aluminum on the center console.

And since it comes to R-Line model (but not the R version), it does not relies on modifications to the engine. However, there are rumors that VW prepare sporty R version of the Touareg.

At this stage, R-Line package for the Touareg is available only in Europe, yet no data for other parts of the world.

The first is the competitive version of the car involved in the Dakar Rally, but certified for use on the road for general use and the second is a car in which gold is used in the interior and in exterior.

Dakar version of the VW Touareg e can accelerate from standstill to 100 km/h in 6 seconds. The car has a modernized appearance and an increased width to 2000 mm, already meets all the requirements to be able to travel on public roads.

Instead of racing wheels measuring 16 inches, now the car has alloy wheels measuring 18 inches made from BBS and gold-colored. The interior of the car is fully upgraded and the protection tube frame is unchanged compared with the racing version.

The engine has an output of 310 hp, while the racing car is bi-turbo diesel with a volume of 2.5 liters, 300 hp power and a maximum torque of 600 Nm.

On the golden VW Touareg, rims are 22 inches in size and are plated. Golden are also roof rails, window frames, radiator grille and the emblem of the car.

In the interior of gold are made the air vents frame, buttons and switches on appliances, door handles and part of the gear shifter. The engine has an output of 360 hp.

Touareg gets a new grille, updated side skirts, rear apron and a massive roof spoiler. Other goodies include a system for separating sports exhaust and 22-inch wheels.

The used 3-liter turbo diesel engine can be modified to produce output of 282 hp and 580 Nm of torque. In addition, the company offers S package that allows the engine to generate 310 hp and 610 Nm of torque.

ABT will please owners of 4.2-liter turbo diesel Touareg by increasing power and maximum torque by 45 hp and by 70 ft so they become 385 hp and 870 Nm.

It includes new widebody kit which includes a revised grille, a new front spoiler, extended wheel arches, a rear apron insert, and a roof-mounted spoiler. JE Design also offers 22-inch aluminum wheels, a dual exhaust, and a suspension lowering module which reduces ride height by 35mm. The company outfitted the 4.2-liter TDI engine with a revised ECU. It increases output from 335 hp and 800 Nm to 404 hp and 930 Nm. Thanks to the extra grunt, the Touareg accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 5.4 seconds and hits a top speed of 269 km/h.

Based in Erftshtad company presented its VW Touareg W12 Sport Edition from which will be manufactured only 500 pieces. The design of the exterior is a work of CEFX. It is a two-tone, for its painting are used the colors gun metal (gray) and black gloss (shiny black) and they contribute to adding a more sporting appearance of the model. CoverEFX optimized the software of the car and it has increased power to 500 hp.

The package of improvements includes CoverEFX and electronic tuning of the body through which the car is more sporty and reduced its clearance (the company currently does not specify how many centimeters).

W12 Sport Edition gets 22-inch wheels from the RS-L Kahn, wearing sports Pirelli Zero Scorpion tires size 295/30-22. The design of the wheel is unique as a painting is used black and red.

The company reported that the total price of the car and tuning package is € 140 500.

Even more impressive is that from the start the model will be available with hybrid gasoline-electric system. As regards to the public premiere of the car it will be at the Geneva Motor Show next month while sales will start in April. Otherwise we can say that the Touareg is in fact a more accessible version of the future Porsche Cayenne since both models have much in common.

At first glance it seems that the car has kept the basic design of the model but has added a new face inspired by the recently displayed Golf VI, Polo and NCC. But if you look closer you will notice that in fact everything in the car is new, having made an impression on the lower roof and a more rounded lines in profile.

The new interior is also in line with the DNA of VW as there are series of innovations including the hand brake working with buttons, and (according to data from VW) largest transparent panoramic roof for all SUV models.

From the German company said that the new Touareg has more spacious rear and as an option electrically rear seat to be folded for luggage space. The maximum volume of the trunk is 1 642 liters. Meanwhile, although the car has been slimmed by 208 kilograms, on account of it offers 5% more strength to the chassis.

Initially, the new model will be available with three engines, a two turbo-diesels and one gasoline-electric hybrid. All they have to go with 8-gear automatic transmission.

The basic model will be equipped with a 3-liter V6 TDI engine with an output of 240 hp, torque of 550 Nm, fuel consumption from 7.4 l/100 km and CO2 emissions of 195 g/km. Then comes the 4.2-liter V8 TDI with output of 335 hp and the massive 800 Nm of torque. Accordingly, in its fuel consumption is 9.1 l/100 km and CO2 emissions – 239 g/km.

But the climax comes with the new hybrid model. At its base is 3.3-liter V6 TSI with the compressor power of 330 hp and 360 Nm of torque combined with an electric motor with 46 hp. Combined capacity will amount to 376 hp, and the total torque – 580 Nm of. Touareg can be driven at a speed of up to 50 mph all-electric mode with its acceleration to 100 km/h takes 6.5 seconds and combined fuel consumption was 8.2 L/100 km.

As to the standard system for four-wheel drive, base 4MOTION versions receive Torsen differential with limited slip (with the possibility of climbing slopes to 31 degrees) and program for off-road driving which at the touch of a button adjusts the ABS, EDS and ASR for off-road conditions but additionally activates Hill Descent Assist and adjusts the transmission gears.

More details about the car should be disclosed during the Geneva Motor Show next month.

Photos show that the design has redesigned front and chrome accents are added while the windshield is placed under greater slope. The car has a sunroof (optional).
