During the Geneva Motor Show Volkswagen will show the updated version of its model CrossGolf. With it, the company will present at the event also the new CrossPolo, Polo GTI and Touareg. As with CrossPolo, and CrossGolf in fact is a slightly raised version of the facelift of the Golf Plus. Accordingly, the car is not driven by the four, only the front wheels.

In the exterior of CrossGolf we can see a few changes – upgraded design of the front and rear bumpers and taillights, as there are, of course, safeguard plastic protectors. The company offers a wide selection of designs for wheels.

On the official site of Volkswagen was published the first teaser picture of the new generation Sharan.
From what is visible it can be assumed that the compact van has been designed in the style of the new corporate models. Headlights and radiator grille in the style of the Golf VI.

The world premiere of the new Sharan will be in Geneva on 2 March. According to the preliminary and unofficial information the new generation of Sharan will be powered by an electric motor and a new range of petrol engines.

It has increased the volume of the trunk with rear seats folded – 2800 liters which is more by 475 liters than the current generation.

Current generation of the VW Sharan is on the market since 2004. It is offered with petrol engines with a volume 1.8, 2.0 and 2.8 liters, none of which has a system for direct fuel injection. Diesel engines are also available today in old Sharan (pump-nozzle without Common Rail).

The new generation will be with the new petrol engines with volumes 1.8 and 2.0 liters with power accordingly 160 and 210 hp and the new turbo-diesel units with the system common rail. The new Sharan will be given a form with the engine family BlueMotion as well as modifications working with gas. There will be a 4×4 version too.

New Sharan sales in Europe will begin immediately after the premiere of the car in Geneva.

Volkswagen published first photos of the new generation Cross Polo.
The world premiere of the little Polo with SUV signs will be in Geneva in March. Cross Polo will be available only in version with five doors.

There will be a typical for the SUV model protective bumpers and arches over the wheels, new thresholds, the roof rails and a greater ground clearance by 15 mm. Wheels are 17 inches in size while tires are 215/40.

Volkswagen officially introduced the “hot” version of the hatchback Polo which received the traditional marking GTI. The car has a petrol turbo engine with TSI volume of 1.4 liters and 180 hp power. In addition to the turbine the engine has a mechanical compressor.

Maximum torque is 250 Nm and it is available from 2000 to 4500 rpm. The engine will be combined with a gearbox with 7 gears and two clutches.

For quite some time there have been spy photos and it seem that the time has come for the debut of the new Volkswagen Touareg. So the second generation model was shown as the german SUV is more than 200 kilograms lighter than its predecessor.

Even more impressive is that from the start the model will be available with hybrid gasoline-electric system. As regards to the public premiere of the car it will be at the Geneva Motor Show next month while sales will start in April. Otherwise we can say that the Touareg is in fact a more accessible version of the future Porsche Cayenne since both models have much in common.

JE Design has revealed a new styling package designed for Volkswagen Polo V.

At a cost of 1528 euro the bodykit includes front spoiler, aggressive side skirts and a modified rear bumper with carbon diffuser. Optional rims are 17- and 18-inch, the car color can be “shadow silver” or “mat red”. Other stylistic improvements include a central mounted steel exhaust system (599 euro), daytime LED lights (399 euro), lowering ground clearance springs (149 euro) and the new spring system KW (929 euro). Not mentioned, however, depending on size and wheels color price ranges between 1809 euro and 2380 euro.

Tuning specialists MR Car Design created a new sports package designed to fit the 2-liter turbo diesel engine of Volkswagen Touran.

Based on the Golf MPV model gets sports system made of stainless steel for separating the exhaust gases. The team of MR Car Design has done reprogramming of the engine’s ECU. Following these changes the car’s power increased to 223 hp and maximum torque of 457 Nm.

Probably there is no man who has never heard of the classic VW Beetle of the past century and its successor, New Beetle, discovered in the late 90′s.

Accordingly, Volkswagen’s New Beetle is available on the market for nearly 10 years and enjoyed a fairly strong sales despite the lack of specific changes during its life cycle. From the factory in Puebla, Mexico so far have gone more than one million of the model. It seems that the people behind the project have an even more ambitious plans for the next generation of automobiles. It should appear between 2011 and 2012.

Perhaps many of you are familiar with the compact Volkswagen up! which was revealed several years ago. In this case, however, Volkswagen Design Brazil revealed a new compact model that closely resembles the up! although it looks quite different.

Volkswagen In concept was developed by four amateur designers under the strict supervision of experts from Volkswagen. The compact urban car was made in 2009 and it was actually shown in December of same year.
